Reverse recipe post

Hello all you good cooks,

Here's the part of the show where you all come out and give me a recipe. I have three skinny little rat-like rooster carcasses thawing on my counter. How, may I ask, might I make them taste good with as few ingredients and as little work as possible? Perhaps you have a slow cooker recipe specifically designed for nasty little skinny @$$ roosters?

Please let me know ASAP. I also have egg noodles if anyone wants to provide a great recipe for chicken noodle.

Thanks all.

XOXO

Joce

PS Here are some pics from a walk Joe and I took in Letchworth Park over Christmas break. It was a beautiful day.

Also, threecollie? Could you tell me how you do those awesome collages on your blog? I have a number of decent pics from my walk in Letchworth and I think they would look good as a collage.
Thanks!

Everyone else: Check out what I'm talking about at www.northviewdiary.blogspot.com
and look at her Amish collage from her 1/13 post.

I <3 soup. When I don't know what to make, I just go through my fridge and use what I have. If you have broth or bouillon, I'd make a watered down version of it, then boil the chicken in it. Once the chicken is cooked, I shred it then put it back in the stock along with whatever veggies and stuff I'd like in the soup. I usually do carrots, celery, and onion, but you can add diced tomatoes, peppers, anything you want, really. And if you don't add the noodles to the whole thing, but only to the portion you will eat that day, the soup will last great in your freezer! If you freeze it with the noodles already in it, the noodles get really...mushy when you thaw it.

Hope you make something yummy! :D

Hey Jocelyn,
This is not for soup, but tasty for chicken, and has pantry ingredents:
1 pound chicken
3 tablespoons chili powder
3 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon lemon juice

Mix chili powder, honey and lemon. Rub to coat chicken, bake 375 until done....
So tasty, not too spicy but great flavor.
Hope you like!

I don't have a recipe for skinny roosters to share, although I do suggest cooking them a long while with ample liquid and tasty seasonings. I suspect you are a lot better cook than I am. lol
I do the collages using Google Picasa photo editing software which is free and really neat. There is a button on it labeled collage. If you control/select a group of photos it will form them into a collage, which you can then edit as you wish. It sometimes takes me a while to get them the way I want them, but they save me from huge posts....

Thanks for the recipe ideas everyone. Julie, I'm going to save yours for a yummy roast chicken. Today I think I am going to throw these bad boys into my stock pot and boil the heck out of them, then make soup as recommended by Jess (thanks hun). LOL.
3C, thanks for the Picasa tip, I always see it in the margins after I post and never knew it could provide me with awesome collages!
XOXO

I recently lost my iPhone either in a cab or on the street, but I had the password feature on and one needs to enter a code in order to use my phone. My question is how secure is it? Is my iPhone unusable or can someone hack into it and reactivate it?
