Keep your nose clean, kid

So, I have some post nasal drip working this week. (Yeah, its gross, sorry to offend.)
But, the good news is, I have some tips and tricks that work.
1. Neti pot/ saline rinse. Just try it next time your face feels like it is going to explode.
2. Peppermint oil all over your head- well at least wherever you feel pressure. (Use it above your eyes only, think Vicks VapoRub).
3. Make yourself a little broth that goes like this: Mince and saute a variety of peppers, onions, and garlic. Then, add one tablespoon of that mixture to a mug. Add 1/8-1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (as much as you can stand) and 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon. Pour boiling water over it, let it steep for 10 minutes, drink it. Eat the garlic/onion/pepper mix too, if you can.
Easy version (not as potent, but works) In a mug combine 1/2 t garlic powder, 1/2 t onion powder, 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon, and 1/8-1/2 t cayenne pepper, pour boiling water over it. Drink it.

Feel better.

XOXO

Interesting information. I took the Pill for years in my youth, and when my husband and I decided to start a family we had great difficulty getting pregnant, and then when I did, we had miscarriage after miscarriage. A specialist finally pinpointed that I have MTHFR, a "thick blood" disorder. Not so much as to give me problems, but it could not circulate through the tiny vessels in the placenta, and our babies died from that. Taking baby aspirin and high doses of folic acid helped and we now have a beautiful son ... Supposedly the MTHFR is a genetic thing, but I wonder ...

Just surfed by today - thanks for sharing. Definite food for thought. All the best~
