There's a song (or three) in my heart. Or, thank you.

I am overwhelmed by the warmth of your comments. Thank you.
And the good news is, the joy of the Lord is my strength. And I've got the joy joy joy joy joy down in my heart. So, there will be peace in the valley for me, someday. So.
XOXO

Do you remember the story of Peter and the boys crossing the lake and the big storm in that little boat? Well I learned something new and will share it with you. Jesus knew about the storm and sent them anyway. Jesus wanted to see how they would react. Remember Jesus walked on the water to be with them. Remember how they reacted before and after His arrival? Each one had a bit of a different reaction. Who are you in the story?
In a nut shell, Jesus sends us into these storms of life, but we are not alone be cause He is there with us - always. He wants to know our reaction. Are we keeping our eyes focused on Jesus so we won't sink? Or we panicing like the others? Just a thought (beleive me, I've turned my eyes away many times and sunk a few times or more okay, a lot!!)
Yes, we might get angry, argue, cry, be scared, but so have many others in the bible.... Moses, Peter, Paul, Jonah, etc. But remember, it's all okay as I have learned to get upset and voice my opinion to God. He wants to hear it. He wants to know ALL about it. It is casting all your burdens onto Him. It does feel refreshing beleive it or not to get it off your chest.
And some day you will look back on all of this and know that you have truly been blessed.
By the way the book is "If you want to walk on water, you have to get out of the boat", by John Ortberg
Have a blessed day while you wait for Spring! It is coming, right?!?!
