Blackberry + Peach = Love

So, real quick, while the jars have their hot water bath-

Blackberry Peach Preserves

5 C peaches, pitted, pealed
3 C blackberries
1/2 C lemon juice
5 C sugar

In a large pot, combine peaches, blackberries, and lemon juice. Mash it up. Bring to a rolling boil. Add sugar all at once. Stir, bring back to boil over high heat. Stir! Stir for 10 minutes. Add 1 T butter to reduce foaming. Keep stirring.

Ladel into sterilized jars. Hot water bath, 15 minutes.

(Recommended: Have some fresh preserves over some vanilla ice cream. Feel the love. Yup.)
