Some of you may know that I do not watch TV. Zero, zip, zilch, nada, none, not any, none at all.
I have not had time to post about all the reasons I do not watch TV (one of which is that I do not have time, LOL). However, this rhyming lady sums up one of the reasons I do not watch the BOOB TUBE.

Money Saving Tips- List in Progress

Do it yourself whenever possible- think oil changes, minor repair, curtains, etc.
Stop buying clothes- you look good!
Borrow movies from the library instead of renting.
Don't have cable- you shouldn't watch that much TV anyway.
Find hobbies that don't cost anything- like board games. (Hear, hear, for SETTLERS!)
Raise chickens. Think free eggs and meat.
Eat venison.
Don't carry a balance on your credit card.
Don't have a car payment.
Get rid of your cell phone. (Oh, the freedom!)
Shop around for phone and internet service.
Turn your heat down and put a sweater on.
And a hat if you're at my house.
Carpool as often as possible.
Reuse ziplock bags- use your discretion.
TURN OFF THE TV!
Make your own bread.
Grow your own veggies.
Shop at a discoount store like Aldi's for stuff you need every week.
Shop for buy one get one free for things that store well.
Make your own baby food.
Use cloth diapers.
Hang your clothes out on the line or on a drying rack.
